The mission of Happy Valley School is to guide students to become productive members of society and to develop an appreciation of multi-cultural differences through a variety of cooperative learning experiences by implementing integrated curriculum which stresses the importance of academics, good citizenship, respect for others, and a sense of self worth.

This document is by no means perfect as well as so rigid it cannot be changed, but it is a good start for the task we have ahead of us, "The best education for our children."

Facility and Grounds
Happy Valley Elementary was built in 1960, with an addition in the 1970's on approximately 12 acres along a city street called West Cherry Street. Our building is typical of a 38 year old building with the exception that it looks brand new thanks to our custodian who has served for over 30 years. We have room for expansion and hopefully this will include a full sized gym and 2 extra classrooms. This will help to relieve some overcrowding in our classrooms and will provide separate facilities for a cafeteria and Physical Education classes.
