Item for the HomeLAN Classifieds?

The HomeLAN Classifieds is a free service for EPB customers (see below if you're not an EPB customer). To get your ad posted:

Email the information about your item AND your name, the name that your EPB Account is in, EPB account number, phone number, home address & email address (you MUST have your own email address, unless it is a paid ad - see below). If you don't want your phone number included in the ad, simply note that in your email.
Please don't send the same email over and over! The Classifieds are updated only once a week (Sometimes we even skip a week! - Remember, this is a free service.).
The email address posted in the ad will be the one from where your ad was submitted. An email address is required in your ad.
You may not submit ads for someone else - they must come from you directly (please note the rules above).
You're allowed to have 3 items running at a time. Please keep ads to about 25 words or less.
Ads will run for approximately one week (paid ads will run for at least 7 days).
Ads may be edited for content, space or clarity (see note at bottom of page).
All ads MUST be non-commercial in nature.
Items will be accepted from residents of the Glasgow/Barren Co. area ONLY.
Unpaid ads will not be run for more than three weeks (even if you resubmit them). They must be paid to run longer.
Free ads available ONLY for EPB customers (if you have EPB high-speed Internet, cable TV or telephone service, you're an EPB customer!).
NOTE - No ads accepted for Real Estate, Help Wanted/Work Wanted or Rentals.

Add a picture and make your ad much more effective!

Run your ad with color photos for only $5 per week! It's easy -- here's all you do:

Get a photo of your item. It can be a digital photo or we can scan your photograph (bring your item by the EPB during business hours and we'll even take a photo for you or scan your photo at no extra charge).
If you have an account with the EPB, we'll add any charges to your next bill (your account must be up to date).
Paid ads will run for a minimum of 7 days. It will be added at the next update.
For paid ads, it is not necessary that you have an email address.
This service is not available to businesses (even businesses-at-home).
Free classified ads are not available to anyone that's not a Glasgow EPB customer* (see below).
If you do not have an EPB account (any of the EPB's services), ads must be paid for in advance.

"Help! Where's my item? I submitted it, but I don't see it."
It's probably because of one or more of the following reasons: The Classifieds are usually updated once a week (usually on Wednesday). If you submitted an ad on Thursday, it might not show up until the following week. Do you live in Glasgow or Barren County? Did you submit an ad for someone else? That's not allowed. Did you send all the required information (including EPB account number, your full name, home address and phone number)? Is it a restricted item or something for a category that no longer exists? Was it an ad for a business or a home business? Non-commercial ads only. Was it an unpaid ad and has it been running for a while? Notice that there is a restriction on recurring, unpaid ads. Are you not an EPB customer? All of those submissions must be paid for in advance.
