 | | Glasgow's Going Green! (See the results?) | Mayor Rhonda Riherd Trautman sent us these and writes:
Bill,
Many of our Glasgow residents support the City’s recycling program (Glasgow’s Going Green) and we appreciate their efforts. However very few get to see the results. These two pictures show the bundles of plastic bottles and cardboard awaiting shipment. Keeping these items out of our Landfill, helps everyone in the long run. For information about the Glasgow’s Going Green Program, go to www.cityofglasgow.org and follow the department links to Public Works and then Recycling or call 651-5977. Remember E-Scrap (electronics, small household appliances, etc.) drop-off is now available at Southgate Recycling on Sat. between 9am and 3pm. We are updating our webpage with new information so please check back often.
Check out more recycling pictures at City of Glasgow Facebook!
Thank you,
Mayor Rhonda Trautman
