Glasgow's first swimming pool was located on U.S. Highway 31-E North just outside of town near the property currently owned by the Bravo family and the former service station now owned by the Perkins family. It was a very large pool and extremely popular with people from far and wide. It was closed in the late 1940's after a drowning. |
