Pat Kingery and the Kentuckians
Sam Terry sent us this photo and writes:
One of Barren County's most popular musical groups in the mid-twentieth century was The Kentuckians. In this photo, the adults from left are Pat Kingery, Iola Weaver, Tommy Bellamy, Bill Wagoner, and Troy Basil. Another female vocalist who sang with the group was Elva Carver (not in this photo). One of the group's records on the Goldenrod label was "Two Toned Love" (listen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtfOaJj5FFc) featuring Carver and Kingery.
