Music for Morrison Park
Music for Morrison Park
Gary Bewley sent us this photo and writes:
Bill, this is a photo of (left to right) Susan Russell, Sharon Burgess and Debi Simmons recording the song "I'll Fly Away" for the new "Music For Morrison Park" CD which has just been released. The photo was made at Wayne Sexton's Recording Studio in Cave City, Kentucky where a variety of local singers and musicians donated their time, talent and cost of production to provide this fund raising product for the Morrison Park Holiness Camp Meeting Grounds. The camp meeting ground is located on Hwy 63 at the intersection of Bristletown Road and is currently under renovation.

Other performers on the CD include, Dennis Devore, Zina Beth and Greg Greer, Pam Staples, John Shepherd, Wayne Sexton, Marilyn Bunch, Stanley Greer, Joy and Anthony Greer, Phil Patton, Tommie Kay Thomas, Herman Hume, Robbie Jones, Debi Simmons, The Heavenly Heirs, Randy Richardson,The Edmonton Quartet, Gary Bewley, Susie and Hannah Bryson, and a special four-minute audio address featuring Rev. Henry Clay Morrison (the park's founder) from a 1930 radio message "Highway to Holiness" (Courtesy of Asbury Theological Seminary Archives). This Gospel CD is simply wonderful and filled with a lot of great talent and various musical styles.

Thank you,
Gary Bewley
