Prickly Pear Cactus

Joe A. Taylor sent us this photo. He writes:

Hi, Bill:
Kentucky's only native cacti is the Prickly Pear Cactus. It blooms in late May and the fruit/seed pods can be used to make jelly. Doesn't this one look happy?
