Programming Schedule for Cable 6
		LIVE from WCLU: The yellow sections of the schedule are local news, carried LIVE from the studios of WCLU radio. WCLU has been a local news leader since its beginning. Now, with coverage on Cable 6, you can finally put a face to all the voices that you've known and trusted for years.
		Community Bulletin Board and Local Advertising: Glasgow and Barren County tune in here for all the latest events for local nonprofit groups, such as clubs and churches. This is also where you'll find "video billboards" and classified ads. Want to promote something new your business is doing? Do you have new hours or a new Website? Want to sell your couch, your car, your video camera or your boat? This is the perfect, low-cost way to let people see it. This information and advertising will run during all the time blocks in green and also anytime when LO programming is not running.
		Locally-Originated Programming: This is the local programming that the EPB introduced to this community way back in 1989. Our personnel go out and tape local events for replay. In some cases, you bring us the programming and we replay it for everyone!

Single-frame ads, airing for 15 seconds each rotation:

$15 - individuals or businesses
$10 - bulk insertions (3 or more frames)

6-month contract: $1 off per frame per month • 1-year contract: $2 off per frame per month

*What's a "frame"? A frame is simply a screen with text, graphics (such as photos or logos) or both. It's a picture on TV that will stay on-screen for 15 seconds each time it comes up.

Keep it simple.

15 seconds is a long time to be able to see something, read it, even write down a phone number. However, to be really effective, make sure something is dominant, that something really stands out. That element will grab viewers' attention.

Keep it short.

The more words there are to fit in, the smaller the text will have to be to make it fit the screen. There is, however, an alternative. Use more than one frame for your advertising. Your message will have not only more room, but also more time on-screen. Additional frames (several frames of the same car, boat, house, etc.) are half-rate. They're a great value!

Use a photo or a company logo in your ad.

Most people are very "visual." Don't you remember someone's name easier if you've seen it on their shirt or nametag? Visual elements not only grab attention, they also help get your message across.
