Between replays of school programs, Small Claims court, youth sports,
graduations, parades and many other local events, over 20,000 people
can see your video billboard ad!
When you advertise
on Cable 6, your video billboard ad stays up for 15-seconds at a time,
continuously in each rotation. Ads come up, along with information about
what's going on in Barren County. The times when your ad can be seen
are shown below. This is a very economical and cost effective way to
help promote your business or just sell something. Think of it as Barren
County's biggest yard sale! |

Weekly Rates per Frame (What's a
frame?*)
Single-frame ads, airing
for 15 seconds each rotation. We can customize a :15 ad just for you with photos of your building, your logo, your business card, all with no setup fee. Weekly costs:
$15 - one frame in the rotation
$20 - 3 frames in the rotation
Note that if you are also running a :30 spot on Cable 6 (see below), your cost for a Cable 6 billboard ad is discounted to $5/week for the first frame and half-price for all additional frames
*What's a "frame"?
A frame is simply a screen with text, graphics (such as photos
or logos) or both. It's a picture on TV that will stay on-screen for 15 seconds
each time it comes up.

Tips for an Effective Ad
- Keep it simple.
- 15 seconds is a long time to
be able to see something, read it, even write down a phone number. However,
to be really effective, make sure something is dominant, that something
really stands out. That element will grab viewers' attention.
- Keep it short.
- The more words there are to
fit in, the smaller the text will have to be to make it fit the screen.
There is, however, an alternative. Use more than one frame for your advertising.
Your message will have not only more room, but also more time on-screen.
Additional frames (several frames of the same car, boat, house, etc.) are
half-rate. They're a great value!
- Use a photo or a company
logo in your ad.
- Most people are very "visual."
Don't you remember someone's name easier if you've seen it on their shirt
or nametag? Visual elements not only grab attention, they also help get
your message across.

Cable 6 Programs
The production team at the EPB currently produces two shows on an ongoing basis, with sponsorships available on each.
"Come On in My Kitchen" airs at 7:00pm each Wednesday, hosted by Wade England. Wade has a laid back charm that makes him the perfect host and some of his recent episodes have included a Valentine's Day dinner and a Mardi Gras celebration.
"Glasgow Now" airs at 7:00pm on Thursday, hosted by local attorney Cheryl Berry. Cheryl explores the issues important to Glasgow and Barren County with such guests as local, state and national political figures and shows helping you to prepare for possible disasters.
Cost is $100/show. The shows are rebroadcast numerous times and all broadcasts are included in the initial cost.
Cable 6 Sporting Coverage
If it's a high school football or basketball game, you can find it on Cable 6. Your business can be featured as a sponsor for these very popular events.
Cost is $15/game. The games are rebroadcast numerous times and all broadcasts are included in the initial cost.
