This is an unofficial site dedicated to documenting the training, mobilization and deployment of Alpha BTRY, 1st BN 623rd FA (MLRS) Operation Iraqi Freedom 3. This new MP Company-like structure was created primarily by the merging of HHSB (Glasgow) and A BTRY (Tompkinsville). We also have Soldiers from our other two Batteries and from other units from around the Commonwealth. Within the constraints of operational security, we hope to provide a place where our friends and families can get a glimpse of what we are experiencing. We will also provide links to useful family support sites. Check our JOURNAL PAGE for regular updates of what we have been doing, and our PICTURES PAGE for photos of our Soldiers in action.
